Pastor Nikisha Telesco Wimberly was born in the Bronx NY where she encountered many difficulties, narrowly escaping a life of crime and premature death. Pastor Nikisha came to know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 1996 while attending an African revival and deliverance service. In later years that pastor prayed over her before return
Pastor Nikisha Telesco Wimberly was born in the Bronx NY where she encountered many difficulties, narrowly escaping a life of crime and premature death. Pastor Nikisha came to know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 1996 while attending an African revival and deliverance service. In later years that pastor prayed over her before returning to Ghana Africa and passed on the mantle of deliverance ministry to Nikisha. Pastor Nikisha is anointed in the deliverance and prophetic giftings of God.
Nikisha Wimberly was Ordained a minister in 2012 and have since dedicated her life to the ministry and anointing God has placed on her. She has also traveled several times to Nigeria, Ghana and Mozambique spreading the Word of God, engaged in the prophetic and deliverance ministry to which she is called. Pastor Wimberly is also engaged in the building up of housing for orphans in Mozambique. She has a heart for reaching the lost, feeding the hungry and providing shelter to those, especially women and children, who are in need of housing. Pastor Nikisha is the founder and director of Open Arms Transitional Housing and Sanctuary (O.A.T.H.S) a not-for-profit organization for women and children in crisis. She has been dedicated to seeing the growth and reconciliation of people who have been separated from their creator Elohim. She served as a minister in New Vision Church of Deliverance for several years ministering the Word of God, leading praise, and worship, engaged in dance (Mime) ministry and of course feeding the hungry. She later became the Lead pastor of New Vision Church of Deliverance.
Pastor Nikisha Wimberly is the wife of Willis Wimberly and a mother of three children. The couple does also have other Children through marriage and adoption. Their doors have always been open to caring for children and providing a safe haven for them to prosper. The Lord has called pastor Nikisha Wimberly to move the church in a different direction by stepping out from the four walls and being more engaged with the community. The Lord has called her to establish Open Arms Christian Ministries International which will continue to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ, train and equip like-minded individuals to fulfill the mandate of Christ in reaching the loss and serving the communities. We are the church extension of Open Arms Transitional Housing and Sanctuary A Not-for-profit organization focused on helping families in crisis.

We believe that when we do kingdom work first according to Matthew 6:33, then the promises of God will be manifested in our lives according to Isaiah 58:8-9. It is therefore to mission of Open Arms Christian Ministries to not just hear the word but to be doers of the word as stated in James 1:22.

In response to the Coronavirus pandemic:
We at OACM are taking steps to thoroughly clean and sanitize our sanctuary. However, we believe that this is a time where God is calling His people and the world to sanctify ourselves and put away our idols. It is time to seek the Lord.
